Biography

Joanne O’Brien has a well established reputation based on more than 20 years experience photographing people in a wide range of environments.

Specialising in portraiture and reportage for editorial and corporate clients, Joanne has also worked on many UK wide public information campaigns. Her approach combines careful planning and technical proficiency with highly-tuned visual and creative responses. She is skilled at dealing with the unexpected and prides herself on her people skills as well as her photographic expertise.

Joanne’s work was included in the ‘Faces of the Century’ exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, London and has been widely published in books, newspapers & magazines. She has worked all over the world, including China, the USA & Europe. She speaks French and German , and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
